Below are some features we have planned. We can’t yet commit to delivery dates, however, if you need any of these accelerated for your project, then please get in touch.

In addition, we are actively building a community of developers who are interested in contributing to Switchboard. Whether you’re interested in building an Extension for your service, or if you’re interested in contributing to the core platform, we encourage you to reach out.

LiveKit Extension upgrades

LiveKit is an open-source platform that provides real-time video, audio, and data streaming infrastructure for applications.

Extension for RTVI-AI (Daily’s open standard, AI voice chat)

Voice generation from text, right inside you Switchboard audio graph.

Switchboard Editor UI

Improved node graph navigation, sharable projects, boilerplate integration projects and more exciting changes coming soon.

More AI / ML models

We're currently experimenting with ONNX, RTNeural and various other ML libraries to run the latest ML models the fast moving landscape has to offer.

Open Source Modules

We're in the process of open sourcing core Switchboard modules to make Switchboard an extensible open platform that can be built on by all.
